THE DOLL

I went to the cliff attic.
Pebbles that glitered reflected a light.
There was an antique doll.
Then i had a dream: skinny pale hands.
There was an evil giggle.
I knew something bad was coming.
This was the worst possible thing to remember.
I couldn't remember details what had happen.
Then I could remember fondly.
But after the dream i had, was real now.
I was so hesitatant.
And couldn't believe that what i have
Dream was coming to be.

FAIRY TALE

The Princess and the Pea

Once upon a time there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess; but she would have to be a real princess. He travelled all over the world to find one, but nowhere could he get what he wanted. There were princesses enough, but it was difficult to find out whether they were real ones. There was always something about them that was not as it should be. So he came home again and was sad, for he would have liked very much to have a real princess. One evening a terrible storm came on; there was thunder and lightning, and the rain poured down in torrents. Suddenly a knocking was heard at the city gate, and the old king went to open it. It was a princess standing out there in front of the gate. But, good gracious! what a sight the rain and the wind had made her look. The water ran down from her hair and clothes; it ran down into the toes of her shoes and out again at the heels. And yet she said that she was a real princess. Well, we'll soon find that out, thought the old queen. But she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses. On this the princess had to lie all night. In the morning she was asked how she had slept. "Oh, very badly!" said she. "I have scarcely closed my eyes all night. Heaven only knows what was in the bed, but I was lying on something hard, so that I am black and blue all over my body. It's horrible!" Now they knew that she was a real princess because she had felt the pea right through the twenty mattresses and the twenty eider-down beds. Nobody but a real princess could be as sensitive as that. So the prince took her for his wife, for now he knew that he had a real princess; and the pea was put in the museum, where it may still be seen, if no one has stolen it. There, that is a true story.

GOAL ACCOMPLISH IN SEPTEMBER

ONE OF THE GOALS THAT I HAVE ACCOMPLISH THIS MONTH IS THAT I HAVE PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS. THIS FEW WEEKS I HAVE IN SCHOOL, I HAVE ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL. BEFORE I USED TO NOT PAY ATTENTION BUT NOW I DO. I ACTUALY LISTEN TO WHAT THE TEACHER IS SAYING. I CONCENTRATE MORE IN CLASS, WHICH ITS GOOD FOR MY GRADES. ITS HARD FOR ME TO FOCUS BECAAUSE OF MY PREGNACY, BUT I STILL TRIED MY BEST AND I HAVE ACCOMPLISH MY GOAL THIS MONTH. YEAH :D!!!!!!!!!

ANGLO-SAXON

5 thing's about Anglo-Saxon that I found interesting are:

1. Religion
Religious observance consisted of invocations and charms to ensure the gods' help in securing a desired outcome in the material world, though the presence of grave goods indicates a belief in an afterlife. There is a possibility that female slaves may have been sacrificed on the death of a male owner and included in the grave to accompany him in the next world.

2. Clothing
The robe or tunic gathered at the waist was the common garment for a man, completed by hose and soft shoes. For a woman the robe or dress extended to the feet. The usual materials were linen and woolens, the more expensive outfits being marked by colourful dyes and exotic borders. Broaches were used to fix clothing by rich and poor, and amulets of stones were worn for luck.

3. Weapons
In war the common weapon was the spear made with a seven foot long ash shaft and an iron head. It was both thrown and used to jab. Shields were round, made of wood covered with leather, and had an iron boss in the centre. Only the nobility used swords, which were about thirty inches long, made of iron with steel edges. The hilt was often elaborately carved and jewelled, and could be inscribed with good luck symbols and the names of gods.

4. Food
The crops most frequently grown were wheat, oats, rye, and barley (both as a cereal and as the base for beer). Peas, beans, and lentils were also common. Honey was the only sweetener in use, and it was used to make the alcoholic beverage mead. Pigs were a major food animal, as were cattle, goats, and sheep. Horses and oxen were raised for heavy farm labour and transportation, though the stirrup had yet to make an appearance from the far east.

5. A Lord's Life
The richer lords lived on estates, with a main rectangular hall surrounded by outlying buildings for various living, working, and storage purposes. Inside the hall a lord might mark his prestige by expensive wall hangings or even paintings. The hall was the scene of feasts for the lord's followers, and a lord was expected to be a lavish host. Society was divided into several social classes, which might vary from place to place. At the top was the king. He was essentially a war leader. He was expected to provide opportunities for plunder and glory for his followers. The king who did not provide land, slaves, or plunder might wake up dead one fine morning.

BEOWULF'S POEM

Beowulf a banquet in your honor let us toast your victories.
Chose the mightest men he could find,
The bravest and best of the Greats
The floor, all wet from the fiend's savage assault
Sail across the sea to Hrothgar.
He know the sea would point the prow
Straight to that distant danish shore
Wulfgar went to the door and adressed the waiting
Sea ferers with soldier's words
My older brother, a far better man than I.
Had died dred and dying made me,
Second among Healfdane's sons stained red.
The reception your father found at our court,
Had begun a bitter feud
From time to time.

Goals I have Accomplish

ONE OF MY GOALS THAT I HAVE ACCOMPLISH IS THAT I HAVE DONE MY HOMEWORK LATELY. I BEEN WORKING HARD TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. WITH MY PREGNACY I MOST FEEL TIRED AND LAZY TO DO THINGS BUT I DON'T MAKE THAT AS AN EXCUSE FOR NOT DOING MY WORK. YEAH AT THE BEGGING OF SCHOOL I DIDN'T DO MY WORK, BUT THEN I REALISE THAT IF I DIDN'T DO IT MY GRADE WAS FALLING OF. KNOW IM STARTING TO DO MY WORK AND IM GOING TO DO MAKE-UPS TOO. SO, THAT MY GRADE OF BRITISH LIT. GOES UP, BECAUSE REALLY THATS MY ONLY CLASS THAT IM FAILING.

ANOTHER GOAL THAT I HAVE ACCOMPLISH IS THAT I HAVE MAKE NEW FRIENDS. MY NEW FRIENDS ARE COOL. WELL IM NOT SAYING THAT MY OLD FRIENDS ARE NOT OK. :D!!!! THEY'RE SUCH GREAT AS THE OTHER ONES. THE THING THAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT IS THAT I HAVE KNOW MY OLD FRIEND MORE AND THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY THOUGHT OF TRUSTING THEM. I KNOW I COULD TRUST MY NEW FRIENDS BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE OLD ONES. BUT STILL I KNOW IM GOING TO LAST TIME KNOWING THEM BETTER, AND THAT ONE DAY I WILL TRUST THEM JUST AS THE OTHER ONES. MEANWHILE, LETS JUST HAVE TIME AND HELP EACHOTHER WITH OUR PROBLEMS, THATS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR NOT. THATS REALLY NICE, HAVING A FRIEND THAT CARES FOR YOU!!!!!! ;D.......
FINALLY, MY LAST GOAL THAT I HAVE ACCOMPLISH IS THAT I HAVE BEING MORE RESPECTFUL AND RESPONSIBLE. KNOW THAT IM PREGNANT I REALIZE MORE THINGS IN LIFE THAT I DIDN'T REALIZE BEFORE. KNOWING THAT NOW YOUR LIFE HAS CHANGE, MAKES YOU MORE RESPONSIBLE AND RESPECTFUL. BEFORE I WAS PREGNANT I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT NOTHING AND EVERYTHING FOR ME WAS DIFFERENT. NOW THAT I KNOW IM GOING TO BE A MOM AND HAVE A LOT OF RESPONSABILITY, I HAVE BEING MORE RESPECTFUL WITH OTHERS.
